NSF Spectrum Week May 13 – 17, 2024

Excited to be part of NSF Spectrum Week 2024 in Washington, DC.

During the second day of the conference, our students have had the opportunity to meet other industry professionals and learn about various topics such as SWIFT + SpectrumX – Data Sharing for Spectrum Sharing Research, NSMA 6GHz in the Headlines, Industry View of Spectrum Sharing, NSMA: Satellite Mega Constellations Panel & History of the Wireless Telecommunications Review (WTR), The World’s Largest Research Project into Wireless Safety, Coexistence, Satellites, NSMA Competing on Safety, the New Frontier for Spectrum Management, and more.

On the third day, our students visited the National Science Foundation building to present the progress in their respective CARSE research and showcased the graduate programs offered by UPR Mayagüez.

During the last day of Spectrum Week, students Johan Ricardo, Jesús Quesada, Margarita Blandón, Jan Claudio, Marc Thys, Paola M. Rodríguez, Yadiel Rodríguez, Camilo A. Verbel, Miguel A. González, Larry Theran, and Yohan A. Aparicio had the opportunity to participate in the SpectrumX Poster Session with their respective research projects in collaboration with CARSE and National Science Foundation (NSF).
