Research THRUSTS

R1 – Microwave and mm-wave Systems

Microwave and Millimeter-wave Systems for RFI monitoring and mitigation, and antennas and transceivers for improved coexistence with commercial users

R2 – Reconfigurable Computational Structures for Signal Processing

Reconfigurable computational systems for high performance operation with reduced size and power for signal processing and product computation in novel receivers, and algorithms to support accurate and efficient processing of large data sets.

CAS – Crosscutting Applied Sciences

Crosscutting Applied Sciences advances radio astronomy, atmospheric sciences, and environmental sensing.  CAS provides the science needs for improved observations used by the research thrusts to develop research projects.
